of course there were more awesome bands, however faced with the kind of heat that would melt your mascara to the brim of your hat (if you were brave enough to wear any)~ it was safer to take multiple shade breaks armed with shade break essentials such as:
camp chair with beverage holder
beer (with koozie)
water
sunscreen
hat
festival foods (of whatever sort is available)
...of course, forget the heat when one can have jason pierce sign your acl program or even just shake the man's hand...

You did NOT have Jason Pierce sign your CD! That's so cool! Was he high, by any chance? His handwriting would suggest he was. I am so completely jealous! How long did you stay? Did you have a corn-dog? I hope you did. Corn dogs are disgusting and wonderful all at the same time. Looks like you had a great time!

Pulled pork and cheese nachos. That's it. I have to go to TX again. There is no hope of me ever finding anything that even resembles pork nachos up here. Now that eat pork, that seems important.
that is it. yes. you do have to come to texas again. however i would suggest post election. who knows what rioting might occur having never lived in the state when election results might actually swing left..
